The President hears the kicking and screaming [tea parties] to stop government spending and control the growing deficit.

President Barack Obama will propose a plan for a three-year freeze in spending for a portion of the U.S. federal budget, according to reports Monday.

The plan, expected to be announced in Wednesday’s State of the Union address, would stop increases in some categories of discretionary spending not related to national security.

The following are the Top Five measures to be instituted immediately:

1. The Secret Service detail to guard the First Dog, BO, has been slashed from six agents to just two. One agent will be assigned protection duties while the other agent will handle the necessary poop scoop off the White house lawn.
2. Air Force One will no longer take mobile phone calls or text messages from Oprah Winfrey during peak hours. Oprah will have to make all cell phone calls or text the President or First lady after 7:00pm EST.
3. The White House staff will no longer accept calls, emails and or threats from Rush Limbaugh or the FOX News channel [already instituted].
4. Timothy Geithner and Ben Bernanke, and their entire staffs will no longer have Internet access to any casino website or Free Poker.net.
5. The Surgeon General’s office will no longer pay per-diem meal costs for Vice Admiral Regina Benjamin.

Both the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal have reported accounts from unnamed sources that Bo is quite upset with the proposed plan. Over the weekend Bo on purpose relieved himself in the Blue Room and the Lincoln bedroom in protest to the plan.

Bo has repeatedly barked his complaint to a White House dog whisperer, interpreted as, he thinks the plan is nothing more than a small first step by the administration to blame him for the President’s dive in recent polls.

Initial responses from the Republican Party were skeptical Bo’s opposition would have any real significance in their efforts to derail the President’s plan. Discuss in the comments people.
