Not every get rich quick scheme works, and high jacking someone’s sexual escapades is a low shot to the “no-no” spot we can all do without, unless of course you have video, beer and some popcorn.
In this case we have a greedy back-stabbing employee trying to exploit a Wall Street bonus from a gap-tooth savvy comedian that has been around the block a few times, literally.

Predictably, Letterman flipped the script on the former television producer, using his highly rated late night talk show to preempt the extortion plot with an apology for his sexual transgressions. Dave may have taken his lumps from the hypocritical media, his peers and most definitely his wife, but he damn sure didn’t take a $2 million ass whipping that Joe Halderman was trying to dish out.
And, No. 1, Robert “Joe” Halderman Thought Dave Letterman was Stupid Rich.
Halderman, 52, dropped his shorts and pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny. He acknowledged that he threatened Letterman with exposure of his sexual indiscretions to tarnish his reputation, and admitted that he stole information from a dairy of a former girlfriend of David Letterman. We have a real winner here, don’t we?

I like Jay Leno despite the whole Conan O’Brien thing. But good for Dave and I hope this lazy greedy basterd has to pick up trash off the NYC roadways for 1000 hours.
