Your righteousness should not overwhelm your intelligence, stupid.

I find it disturbing that individuals with a college degree in English and or Journalism are so short-sighted and lazy.

Instead of checking facts that were readily available for two days, they decided to whine about not being invited to the Tiger Woods’ Confessional party, like a bunch of sophomores in high school. [Friday, February 19, 2010]

“Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11:00 a.m. EST on Friday at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future, and he plans to apologize for his behavior.” Wednesday, Feb 17,2010, @ Tiger Woods.com

Where in the above statement by Tiger Woods does it say that he will be holding a press conference?

A little advice for anyone looking to go into the Famous profession, the media are not your friends!

In any event, since when does a “famous” person call a press conference and not control the event. I find it stupefying that journalism professionals would think that Tiger would not employ/deploy public relations help.

It’s also safe to say that any PR firm, would advise Tiger to control anything that maybe spun into being called a press conference.

Journalism once was a beacon of educated and informed facts and opinion. The disciples of truth and the gate keepers of our American democracy.

Today the profession is nothing more than a horde of “copy & paste” artists looking for free buffets and salacious gossip. The profession is bloated with shear laziness and a brazen need to know “entitlement”.

And in this case, a need to know something that is none of their business.

Laziness and entitlement go hand-in-hand, but you are out of control when you can’t handle being told, you are not a friend.
