In a State of the Union address that focused on the economic challenges crippling America and the political challenges that face Washington, President Barack Obama declared:
“So far we are as popular as a root canal.” “I don’t quit, my gums and tooth enamel are strong.”
The Republicans took no time to fire back at the President, the nation cannot afford the spending Democrats have enacted or the dental plans they propose, Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell said Wednesday in the Republican response to the State of the Union address.
Democratic policies are resulting in an unsustainable level of cavities in the mouths of the American people. He said Americans want healthy teeth and gums, but they don’t want the government to run it. Discuss in the comments.
